Earl's art ministry started almost a decade ago with chalk. For years Earl created chalk art for churches, camps and retreats. About five years ago he switched to paint. "It's a better medium to work in and it's less expensive than the chalk," Earl told one church leader. "I still like creating chalk pieces because the chalk dust flies everywhere and makes for a good show."
To date, Earl estimates that he has created just under fifty works of art in front of audiences.
